Mostar and Kravice Waterfall

Mostar is the city of mixing cultures and contrasts, a city where East meets West. From a recent war when the heart of the city was bombed, to rich Turkish history, let this excursion take you through different times and cultures. The most magnificent monument Stari Most (Old Bridge), built in 1566 by the great Turkish builder Hayruddin and destroyed in 1993, is the symbol of this town, symbol of its pride and tragedy. Its beautiful stone structure is now again standing over the Neretva River and returning life into the most beautiful city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The trip starts with a minivan or a coach from Split, continuing through Omiš and Makarska Riviera and passing through the fertile Neretva Valley, all the way to Mostar.

A local professional guide will walk you through narrow city streets, museums and history. There will be enough free time to wonder through traditional Kujundžiluk (old bazaar) and to try traditional delicacies. The last destination is the beautiful Kravice Waterfalls - enjoy the scenic views or even take a swim and refresh if weather permits. Return to Split in the evening,
