Even the people you put with on the cruise were excellent. The service and our tour guide Ian were excellent. Thank you very much for everything. • We had the pleasure to participate to the cruise on Admiral MV in July 2021. We already had a good experience two years ago with another crew and ship (Amalia), but this time the holiday has been truly amazing. This is not only thanks to the stunning places we visited, but also thanks to the professional yet warm crew. The level of the cuisine was excellent, especially in the light of the limited space available in a ship. One of the guests is celiac. The Chef carefully prepared for her gluten-free meals, providing alternative versions of the same dish the other guests were having. This is a good (and fair) approach to celiac guests that even many restaurants on the mainland are not able - or willing - to ensure. While some improvements can still be made - e.g. writing on a blackboard the estimated time of arrival/departure/lunch -, we would like to express our full satisfaction for the high quality treatment we received.

  • We booked a July cruise around the Croatian islands with Katarina Line. Not having cruised on a ‘small’ ship before, we were a bit anxious... It turned out to be one of our best-ever holidays in one of the world’s greatest sailing destinations. Going on board produced the first stab of excitement. Just two years old, the MV Admiral is gorgeous, from the varnished restaurant floor to the big sundeck – everything was pristine and top quality. The 19 cabins were spotless, spacious and comfortable. We met the other 36 guests at dinner the first night. A great crowd. Mixed ages – lasting friendships were formed. The food was superb – as good as any restaurant we visited ashore. The swim stops were a delight and Ivor, our ‘tour guide’, was effectively, a fellow passenger who shared his expert knowledge with us and made all arrangements. The MV Admiral is owned by the Captain Ivo. His son is one of the seven young crew and for their happy service alone I would have awarded this holiday five stars. Watching the apprentice captain bringing the ship alongside in harbour, under the watchful eye of the skipper, using a hand-held cabled remote control the size of a brick, was fascinating. In short, we were made to feel like millionaires on a private yacht. The scenery (you are never out of sight of at least one island), plus the history, architecture and entertainment of the ports-of-call, ranging from knockout Dubrovnik and lively Hvar to tiny Pomena, all made for a memorable experience. Going back to a hotel room anchored in one place won’t be quite the same after this.

  • I am writing to you to express our thanks for the wonderful holiday. We were extremely happy with the crew, the service they gave us was outstanding and the whole cruise was well put together and well organised, thanks to you. My friends are still raving about the holiday and want to know when we are going again. We will highly speak of Katarina-line to anyone of our friends who may be interested in the future.

  • I just finished a cruise which went from the 27/05/15 to the 04/06/15 from Dubrovnik to Split with the MV Admiral deluxe ship. I just wanted to say that my partner and I were extremely impressed with everything about this cruise, the ship it self was super comfortable, the cabins were amazing, the food was amazing, the amount of space and deck chairs was very generous, the choice of island stops were really interesting and diverse and most importantly the customer service from the crew were ten out of ten perfect. A special thank you to Luka the bar man and waiter and also the other waiter Duje, who's name I can't spell, however I know his the captain's son, he was also really impressive with his customer service, this was a very memorable cruise and we will be returning in the future!!
