Avangard

The MV Avangard is a modern deluxe vessel, offering a luxurious cruising experience along the Croatian coast. Launched in 2017, this state-of-the-art ship is equipped with the latest technology and amenities to ensure maximum comfort. With a length of 50 meters and a width of 8.8 meters, Avangard features 18 spacious cabins, each equipped with modern comforts like air conditioning, LCD TVs, and vanity sets. Cabins are serviced daily, providing a high standard of cleanliness and comfort throughout the voyage.

The ship's amenities include a large sundeck of 220 m² with a Jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing under the sun. The spacious salon area, with a dining area, bar, and lounge seating, offers an inviting space for guests to unwind and socialize. For easy access to the sea, the ship is equipped with a swimming platform, and leisure activities like snorkeling and swimming are available, with a tender boat for excursions. With a maximum capacity of 36 passengers and a professional crew of 8-10 members, Avangard ensures an intimate and attentive experience for every guest

After a successful PCC cruise 24.- 31.7. 2021. on MV Avangard in the organization of your company "Katarina line" we thank on behalf of the whole group for an exceptional event, which all participants in the true sense of the word were delighted with. The organization of the whole event from preparation, welcome, shuttle bus ride, cruise, choice of coves-beaches for day swimming, overnight stays in ports, etc was SUPER!!! We would especially like to emphasize the exceptional quality service at all levels as well as the cordial, cultural and professional crew led by the captain/owner Damir. Food and the choice of drinks, hygiene-cleanliness were also at a high level and in the end once again a big THANK YOU for everything. Finally, we all want to repeat it again next year in other destinations on the Adriatic. We thank you once again for everything.

I sit alone at Dubrovnik airport reflecting on our last two weeks in Croatia. My wife has already departed northwards to Edinburgh, as Yuri our Katarina guide said “our new family” are also in various stages of their onward adventure. How to describe a trip of a lifetime? We arrived for our first visit to this wonderful country unaware of how special it would be. A few days exploring Split soaking in the sights, culture and cuisine. We transferred to MV Avangard and received a warm welcome and an introduction to our crew. The crew who for the next week would greet us with a smile and help us to enjoy what their part of the world had to offer. We met our fellow passengers and made friends that feel like family. Our newfound family all agreed that we considered ourselves blessed to be allowed to share our time with such a hard-working, friendly, outstanding crew. Katarina Line can be very proud, the food was excellent, the service was perfect, and they made every second of our cruise a joyful experience. We visited so many amazing islands and places, before post cruise spending a few nights in stunning Dubrovnik. Together on MV Avangard from the 27th August 2022 until the 3rd September 2022 everyone made an old man feel very happy!

Just got back from Split to Split cruise on the Avangard. Absolutely wonderful experience! Our cruise from Split to Dubrovnik was cancelled due to low numbers but was upgraded and switched to the new itinerary. The crew on this ship was second to none! Dimce, Lea (Laya), Tony & Tony, captain, and chef were so great. When I saw the little galley kitchen I didn't have high expectations of food, but I was very wrong. Don't know how he did it, but the chef outdid himself. The crew made this experience a trip of a lifetime. The small ship was exactly what we were looking for (21 people), and the staff made it even better. Big shout out to Dimce and Lea/Laya-unsure of spelling. Very special duo taking care of meals and the multitude of drinks. Highly recommend is an understatement.
