Starting Your Cruise in the Split Region: A Simple Guide to Departure Ports

• Dubrovnik: Luggage Hero, Obala Stjepana Radića 14

• Marina Baotić: Luggage storage is available inside the marina. 
• Split: Luggage storage is available throughout the harbour
• Opatija: Please ask the Katarina Line representative for information about luggage storage possibilities.

We suggest bringing light clothes such as shorts, T-shirts, bathing suits, sandals, and similar items. It's also a good idea to pack a few long-sleeve shirts, long pants, or a wind jacket for cooler weather and breezy nights. Don't forget essentials like a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a beach towel, and additional personal towels if you're travelling on Traditional Ensuite or Traditional vessels. If you forget anything, you can usually buy summer clothes and equipment in most of the harbours.

There is no limit to the size or amount of baggage, but your luggage must fit into the cabin. If you feel that your luggage is oversized, please contact Katarina Line by email at cruises@katarina-line.hr for a solution.

Katarina Line vessels embark from several ports along the Croatian coast, depending on your cruise itinerary. In the Split region, due to ongoing reconstruction works in the Port of Split, embarkation is currently organized from multiple departure ports across the wider Split area, including Trogir Ferry Port, Trogir Town Port, Marina Baotić in Seget Donji, and Omiš.

On embarkation day, Katarina Line representatives wearing white and turquoise shirts will be present at the departure port with guest lists, vessel names, and cabin information to assist you with check-in and boarding.
