The Bribir Prisnac Festival: A Celebration of Tradition, Taste, and Togetherness

The program began with a cultural performance by the local folklore group, KUD Bribir, honoring the traditions and music of the region. Around the tower, vibrant stalls were set up by local exhibitors, offering visitors a chance to taste and enjoy Bribir's most famous delicacy — the Bribirski prisnac.
A special highlight was the presentation by Vina Kvarner, which invited guests to savor the diverse aromas and flavors of their regional wines — a perfect pairing with prisnac!
Keight Hotel Curio Collection by Hilton joined the celebration by preparing its own version of the traditional Bribir prisnac, which is featured daily in its breakfast offerings for guests. In collaboration with Katarina Line, the hotel and tour operator proudly became part of this heartwarming tradition.
What is Bribirski Prisnac? It is a savory traditional dish that has been passed down through generations in this part of Croatia. Often made with a mixture of fresh cow cheese, eggs, spring onions, and herbs, the filling is wrapped in a soft dough and baked until golden. Some variations include sour cream, bacon, or even wild greens, depending on family recipes and local ingredients. It's a true symbol of home, tradition, and the welcoming spirit of this region.
