• A 25% advance payment per person is required at the time of reservation.

• The remaining balance must be paid at least 45 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Individual bookings (up to 4 cabins):

• 45 days or more before departure - non-refundable deposit

• 44-30 days - deposit + 25% of the remaining balance

• 29-22 days - deposit + 50% of the remaining balance

• 21 days or less - 100% cancellation fee

CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

•  Name change fee - €20 per person 

• Date change fee – €20 per person 

Name and date changes must be requested at least 45 days before departure. Date changes are permitted only for another available departure within the same season (2027). Changes to a different season are not permitted under this option and will be treated according to the standard cancellation term. A name change and a date change cannot be applied to the same reservation. Guests may request either a name change or a date change, but not both.

IMPORTANT CRUISE INFORMATION

• The published itinerary and daily schedule may be adjusted due to weather or sea conditions, port restrictions, public holidays, operational requirements, or other circumstances beyond Katarina Line's control.

• Every reasonable effort will be made to operate the cruise as published. However, the order of visits, ports of call, arrival and departure times, excursions and other elements of the programme may change when necessary. The final daily schedule will be confirmed on board.

• Due to limited berthing availability in some Croatian ports, particularly during the high season, vessels may berth or anchor in a nearby alternative port. For example, Stari Grad may be used instead of Hvar Town, or Komiža instead of Vis Town.

• Departures are confirmed subject to a minimum of 20 participants. Katarina Line reserves the right to cancel a departure if the minimum number of participants is not reached.

• Katarina Line reserves the right to substitute the scheduled vessel with another vessel of the same or a comparable category when operationally necessary, including in the case of charter arrangements. Guests will be notified whenever reasonably possible.

SHIP RULES

Passengers are required to comply with the Ship Rules, which are available in written form on board. These include rules concerning food and beverages brought onto the vessel, safety procedures and conduct on board.

In cases of serious or repeated misconduct that affects the safety, wellbeing or enjoyment of other guests or crew, the Captain and/or Katarina Line reserves the right to require the passenger concerned to disembark.

MOORING & ACCESSIBILITY

Please note: Due to specific mooring conditions in many Croatian ports, Katarina Line vessels are often moored side by side. Guests may therefore need to cross one or more vessels, sometimes with gaps or changes in level between them, to reach the shore. Passengers must take particular care when crossing between vessels and do so at their own risk. Crew assistance is available upon request; however, passengers remain responsible for assessing whether they can safely embark, disembark and move between vessels.

For this reason, these cruises are not recommended for passengers using wheelchairs or for guests with reduced mobility.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Katarina Line strongly recommends that all guests obtain appropriate travel insurance, including cover for trip cancellation, medical expenses, accidents, baggage and other unforeseen circumstances.
