According to legend, the renowned Rab Cake was first created by nuns in a local monastery to honor a visit from Pope Alexander III. On this unique excursion, you’ll hear the captivating story behind this centuries-old treat, watch a demonstration of how it is made, and, of course, savor its delicate almond flavor.
Your experience includes introduction to Rab cake producing and a story of history of the area, tasting of Rab cake, ''mustaćoni'', honey biscuits (gingerbread), fig cake, oatmeal, sweet roasted almonds, shot of home-made liquor (with Rab herbs or honey...)
