Fantazija

I'm sssooooo sorry to be so late in sending comments about our Small Ship Fantazija cruise from Split to Dubrovnik. The whole trip to celebrate our Golden Wedding was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS from beginning to end.

Fantazija was a perfect size, plenty of room to relax and have fun with all the guests. Our cabin was just lovely- Cabin 7 with access to the walkway. Everything clean, tidy, beautiful bedding and towels. A lovely bottle of wine from you for our anniversary- so kind. We couldn't have had a better group of travellers- we bonded from the first meeting. We sailed early each morning before a hearty breakfast of various items- mmmmm tasty!! Each swim spot was amazing. Each port of call after lunch was wonderful. The arranged tours and trips were well organised and we were delighted with them all especially the visits to the Oyster Farm and the Wine Cellar. A slight disappointment was not having complimentary tea or coffee during the day. Many, many thanks for all your excellent arrangements. We cannot speak highly enough of our first Small Ship Cruise, a fabulous holiday to celebrate our special Golden Anniversary. Diolch o galon, thank you so much,

Please pass on my comments to the Katarina Line management. We had a wonderful time for the week cruise on the Fantazjia from Dubrovnik to Split. The ship and crew were wonderful. I want to extend super comments about the entire crew, including the tour guide (Filip). They were all GREAT, 10 plus + The simple captain (Nino) was a gentle giant, and so kind. I cannot brag more about the crew. I felt the food was adequate, and I had no problem, some others seemed unhappy, but we were happy with it. Even thou the first two days we had rain and some rough weather, they made the best of it, and it all worked out. I would suggest this line and service to all. I look forward to the next opportunity, another route. Thank you again for suggesting this line/service. Best Regards

My husband and I just had our honeymoon on your boat Fantazija and we absolutely loved it. Our Cruise director Danellia was so amazing, the captain and crew were amazing, overall a 10/10 experience. 

We loved it so much we would like to do a family reunion on one of your ships and wanted to get as much information as possible about renting out an entire ship. I know you have so many boats and levels etc and we do not have it narrowed down to a time of year, a type of boat etc. So i am wondering if you can send me information on all of the boats and routes options as well as pricing and add-ons. We currently have about 25 people interested in going before we event reached out to our larger family so we know we have the interest and the people we just want to see what the price differences are between certain boats etc. I dont know if you have a sell sheet for each boat with the information but i would happily take absolutely everything you are able to provide. This is just our first step so obviously i am sure some prices vary depending on the time of year but would love some information as a starting point. We are hoping for sometime in 2024 or 2025 to do this.

I am back home, and our next trip, a Paul Gaugin cruise to Tuamotus and Marquesas starting today was cancelled on Monday of this week, so I have some time to tell you how great the trip you organized for us in Croatia was.

The hotels were all excellent.  Amadria Park in Zagreb was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and as you know, I have travelled a lot on business and for pleasure.  Great location, rooms were very nice and included breakfast spread was probably the best I have ever had.  The service, from the front desk when we arrived to the restaurant and check out was excellent.  This hotel should be an example for the Croatian tourist board of what to strive for when welcoming tourists from USA.

Degenija boutique hotel was also excellent, more modest but nevertheless great place to stay near the Plitvice Lakes Nat’l Park.  Rooms and service were also above expectations, and very convenient on site restaurant offered a nice selection of great dinner options for all tastes.  We even saw fireflies at night, thanks for arranging that!

The drivers were all very good too, and met all of our needs, which were quite challenging at times, and the vehicles were always clean and in top operational condition.  

Our ship Fantazija was nothing less than amazing.  The entire crew was excellent, from the Captain to the servers and kitchen staff.  They were there to satisfy our every wish, bringing us drinks and cappuccinos whenever we wanted one, to the crew watching out that my shoes don’t fall from the deck into the sea.   The food was excellent, a nice variety of 4 course meals, beautifully served and the chef was gracious enough to spend time with me to explain how to make his very tasty pasticada, which was served for lunch one day.  The included excursions were very well organized and exceeded even my expectations, particularly the one in Neretva River Delta and Metkovici area.

The Captain’s dinner was beyond anybody’s expectations.  The Klapa of 3 musicians played beautifully the traditional Dalmatian songs and we all joined in singing and dancing until midnight.  I even lost my voice from singing along with them.

The Mostar trip was fantastic, driver was excellent; he recommended a very good traditional restaurant to have a lunch at, which we really enjoyed.  He was able to get us around the log jam at the border back into Croatia, with a lesser known crossing that had no waiting line.

In summary, yes, the trip was expensive, but it was well worth it.  All of our American travelers were surprised way beyond their expectations with the trip organization and the beauty of landscapes and culture in Croatia.  They have all said that they plan to come for another visit in future and bring their friends.  I think this is a great advertisement for Adriatic Travel and Croatian tourism.
