I would suggest this route for any first time visitors to Croatia. Having been here before, I would also like to try different routes to see parts of the country I have not been to yet. This was a great cruise! I wish the beach towels were changed during the trip, like the bed linen was. We went to some local beaches in Dubrovnik and Brac and our towels became dirty from laying on the rocks. I can’t say enough how great the entire staff was. The captain, to the crew, housekeeping and the bar tenders (who seem to never have a minute off). And of course I can’t forget Minja! She was awesome! Funny and knowledgeable… always making a all the guest feel welcome and made sure everyone had a great time!

This was a fantastic trip and then newly renovated Futura is an incredible boat (one of the nicest when compared to all the other boats we saw)!!! The crew was excellent and kept the boat immaculate! Our tour Manager, Minja, was the absolute best!! She was super knowledgeable, friendly, kind and entertaining. I will hope to have her time when we return to take another Katarina line cruise. Minja, and all the crew made the trip extra special.
We were disappointed about having our starting point moved from split to Trogir/Baotic as we lost time in Split and had to take a bus and relocate to Baotic, where there is effectively nothing to do. I understand it was due to some port issues/contruction, but we were disappointed in that change.
Additionally, when we got off the bus, one of the Katarina line employees who was taking bags, took my wheeled luggage bag, that I was trying to take myself, and dragged it along the pavement, by the soft side of the luggage (not using the wheels$, shredding the bottom material of my bag and zipper (I have pictures), so no reason- it would have actually been easier to just use the wheels, than drag my bag across the pavement, ruining the bottom of my bag for no reason and when I was trying to wheeled it myself and would have wheeled it myself. I unfortunately do not have that employees name, but he was also unhelpful and rude- noting like any of the other Katarina line staff/crew we encountered. I was disappointed in the change of location for the harbor to start the cruise, check-in process for the bus, getting off the bus and then baggage handling at the harbor. I just don’t understand why the Katarina representative had to drag by luggage by the soft side across the pavement, rather than using the wheels and damage my luggage.
Other than the change of the harbor and the check-in, the crew, the Futura, Minja, and then overall experience was excellent and we look forward to coming back.

Thank you Katarina Line, for a most wonderful Adriatic “Small ship” cruise. Our cruise was the KL Deluxe - Dalmatian Paradise Split to Split on the ship called the Futura in mid-July. At the end of June we came home from the Alaskan cruise on the Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth when I got the “last minute” offer from the Katarina Line for this Dalmatian cruise. It looked so good that we accepted and two weeks later we were on a cruise that turned out to be one of our best.
The program is well thought out offering plenty of sun bathing, swimming, sightseeing and informative lectures. The ship is big enough to master the seas and to find some personal space. And it is cozy enough to meet and spend time with your newly made friends. Our air conditioned cabin was just as spacious as our suite on the QE. Every part of the ship shines with cleanliness which is kept that way by the vigilant crew. The food on board is way beyond what we expected. It was like dining in a Zagat or Gault Millau rated restaurant, Breakfast is buffet style but all other meals are waiter served with complimentary wine. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The menu included filet mignon, homemade pasta with truffles, roast veal roulade, monkfish fillets in a wine sauce, pašticada (Dalmatian specialty) and more. And don’t get me started on deserts. If all that wasn’t enough, one evening they took us to a restaurant on a farm where we enjoyed homemade prosciutto, cheeses and meats roasted under the dome with all the wine you could drink. This was also included in the cruise fare. Of course, we cannot forget to mention the beauty of the Croatian coast, the crystal clear sea, each town unique and beautiful and the mountains rising straight up out of the sea. Of course, none of this would be possible without our outstanding captain Damir and his crew who made sure that we were well taken care of and that all of our wisher were met. And we cannot forget our wonderful guide, organizer and group leader, Ivan. Thank you all for making this cruise even better than the one we experienced on the Queen Elizabeth. We will see you on another cruise.

THE TRIP WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING : EVERY DAY WAS A HIGHLIGHT ON ITS OWN AND THEY DID NOT STOP RAVING ABOUT EVERYTHING THEY SAW AND EXPERIENCED. I know that several of them will be back with wives (Laurent !) and with their families and friends…
The Yacht : Incredible – the care of the staff superb – the food – there wasn’t a single meal that they found not up to standard… Alison Wright wanted to take the Chef lady home with her… actually she wanted to take all the staff home ! Aki & Dominic really took care of them all with special attention to all their individual wishes…
For me and all the group, the whole country was wonderful and so rich in history – it was all phenomenal … this was really brought alive and showed off to us by Filip: He is a gem and loved by all in the group. He made my job so easy…actually he did all for me before I could even ask him. I need to tell you that you will have to book him for us for all our future groups. That is real – I know the group exhausted him but he never ever stopped or complained … A GEM .

The hotel in Brela was very good and the cruise on the "Futura" was even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our spacious stateroom, the swimming in the beautiful dalmatian water, the tours, the friendly and welcoming crew and the marvelous food! Your chef did wonder is this little kitchen!

We have spent a week on the Katerina Line ship Futura and it was idyllic..... What can one say? One could not devise a more perfect holiday on board. A ship sailing from Split via various beautiful islands to Dubrovnik and back again via more beautiful islands on board the most luxurious small cruise ship. Minje, our tour representative, greeted us with such a beautiful, sincere smile and was more than helpful throughout the holiday and I would definitely say that she is the best tour rep that we have known. The Futura is a ship of pure luxury and none of us on board could find fault in anything. Our room and the shower (important!) were spacious and we had lots of hangers for all of our clothing and the beds were so comfortable. The dining room was clean and spacious with panoramic windows and plenty of space on the decks for sunbathing or sheltering from the sun. Food was a big conversation topic and all of the experienced "cruisers" on board agreed that the cuisine was the best experienced by them and, having eaten in top restaurants in London, I can say that the lunches and dinners were on par with those. A truly wonderful week so thank you Katerina Line and of course the lovely Minje!

My husband and I traveled Europe between 15/8-29/9 and from 3-10/9 we had the pleasure of being on the MV Futura. We both agreed this cruise was the highlight of our trip to Europe and have recommended MV Futura to many friends since we have returned home. Thank you again Katarina line and MY Futura for a wonderful cruising experience

It is hard to believe it is over a month since we disembarked from the beautiful Futura – we did the Opatija to Dubrovnik trip on June 24th. Although we filled in the feedback form, we felt our comments at the time did not do justice to our experience. So here goes: From our first contact, Agata made dealing with Katarina line a breeze. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable – all you could ask for!! Our hotel pick up by a Katarina Line staff member was prompt and again very friendly. We were early and first on board - no worries – our cabin was ready and we were treated to cold drinks. And what a bonus – we were given Cabin 9 – everyone else had cabin envy!! Our tour manager Bojan was outstanding – knowledgeable, helpful and a lot of fun – rated at least 20 out of 10

Le yacht Futura est moderne et spacieux, ce qui laisse la possibilité soit de rencontrer et parler avec les autres passagers, soit de rester en couple. Le programme est relativement léger (visites, arrêt nage dans les criques, etc) et permet de se reposer et de couper de notre vie habituelle. Nous avons été enchantés de notre croisière! - Welcome: 5/5 (Excellent) - Boat: 5/5 (Excellent) - Quality/Price: 4/5 (Very Good) - Destination: 4/5 (Very Good)

El barco es bonito y muy cómodo. El camarote espacioso y agradable. La comida, increíble Lo mejor, el personal. Ana y Juliana siempre sonrientes (os llevo en el corazón) , nos ayudaron en todo y toda la tripulación se esforzó para que nuestro viaje fuese inolvidable, a pesar de que no hablaban en español. Los lugares que visitamos fueron impresionantes. La cena en el pueblo del interior buenísima al igual que todo el programa de entretenimiento.. Nuestro máximo agradecimiento a Raul en la oficina de Split, nuestro ángel de la guarda. Toda la organización, perfecta. Pronto irán unos amigos a los que les hemos recomendado el viaje No lo olvidaré

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all your help with the cruise. Thank you for pushing for It because you were right, it was amazing. I loved it, it was fun and relaxing. Everyone on board Futura was fantastic, from the captain to the cook. The food was great, service superb! I have to tell you that I was very impressed with our Cruise Director, David Danijel. He was very knowledgeable, and personable, making sure everyone is happy and took care of everything. Not to mention he is an amazing singer and entertainer. We had such a good time on the last, captain’s dinner night. Everything was so well organized, transfers were arranged very well too. I truly loved the cruise! Everything was perfect!!!! Thank you again for making the adjustments so that I can join the cruise due to my schedule.

We expected quite a lot & the team exceeded our expectations. From the creative vegetarian meals to the multiple swim stops - we couldn’t ask for more. Aida shared many interesting historical insights and shared of herself & her perspectives making the trip more intimate & personal. We appreciated the pace of the scheduled activities & mix of organized activities and free time. We felt safe at all times aboard & in towns.

Smooth sailing and visited beautiful islands and their associated towns. The duration (7 nights) was perfect and gave us plenty of time to relax. We saw towns with quiet villages to the larger one like Dubrovnik. The weather was perfect and every swimming spot was beautiful and the water amazing. The whole trip was well above our expectations. We took our 2 children and loved it as well.
