  • Good morning from Australia!! I have just completed my cruise on MS Spalato May 6-13, 2023. What an incredible experience I had. I have just completed the questionnaire for you and cannot explain how wonderful this sailing tour was All the staff on the cruise were just incredible - each staff member were wonderful & Tanja was amazing with her wealth of knowledge & also swift action to help those in medical need. Even checking in on me every day when others had more urgent needs I made friends from all over the world that I will keep in contact with. We had a terrific group of people on our cruise

  • First of all I want to thank you for a wonderful cruise. We love the SPALATO, Captain Zoran and the amazing crew. Having Matthew as our tour director was fantastic. He managed the excursions, special requests and our every need smoothly, professionally and always with a smile. His knowledge of Croatian history was very impressive and provided us with a wonderful understanding of Croatia, its people and its history. The food, especially the desserts, were excellent.

  • Have just returned from a great holiday, Croatian Islands Explorer, sailing around the islands of Croatia on the MV Dalmatia. Sailing around the islands was a beautiful experience, each one different with a guided tour. Our tour manager Danku was with us throughout giving excellent advice and guidance, with a sense of humour. The crew of MV Dalmatia made our time aboard the ship so enjoyable leaving us with lasting happy memories. Dado the captain, Ivan & Ivan the sailors, Nenad & Dimitrije the chefs and Filip the bar man & waiter where all very efficient, helpful, and friendly. Nothing was too much effort for any of them, working always with a smile to make our trip as enjoyable and memorable as it was. The opportunity to swim off the ship in lovely bays was great. The food was exceptional and always served with a smile.

The whole crew like Monica, Marino and the 2 friendly other guys (forgot the names) outdid themselves trying to please everyone and I know how hard this is. Freddy and Valter had accompanied us and gave great tips where to visit dinner places and we couldn’t have asked for better and nicer guides for our tours - and that’s not easy either. Always supporting everyone all the time! I am not on social media except WhatsApp, so I left my review online over the phone. You’re also more than welcome to share my impressions from my letter. Do the ports have Luggage storage?

  • Dubrovnik port: The only luggage storage available is the Katarina Line operational storage (Obala Stjepana Radića 37).
  • Split port: Luggage storage is available throughout the harbour
  • Opatija port: Please ask the Katarina Line representative for additional information about luggage storage possibilities.
What shall I bring with me?
->

We suggest bringing light clothes such as shorts, T-shirts, bathing suits, sandals, and similar items. It's also a good idea to pack a few long-sleeve shirts, long pants, or a wind jacket for cooler weather and breezy nights. Don't forget essentials like a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a beach towel, and additional personal towels if you're travelling on Traditional Ensuite or Traditional vessels. If you forget anything, you can usually buy summer clothes and equipment in most of the harbours.

What is my baggage allowance on board?

There is no limit to the size or amount of baggage, but your luggage must fit into the cabin. If you feel that your luggage is oversized, please contact Katarina Line by email at cruises@katarina-line.hr for a solution.

Where do I find the vessel? (Location)
->

Vessels are docked in the Opatija harbour, Gruž harbour in Dubrovnik, and the ferry harbour in Split. In Split, vessels are typically located on the side of the harbour opposite the main bus station and further toward the city center, near the train station, Port Authority building, and the main promenade. The specific dock number is not provided, as vessels are assigned differently each Saturday based on the Port Authority's directions. However, Katarina Line representatives, wearing white and turquoise shirts, will be in the harbour with guest lists, vessel names, and cabin numbers to assist you with embarkation.

Is there a place to park a car for 7 days? (PARKING)

We can assist with parking arrangements:

  • Opatija: The parking lot near small town Ika in the Opatija district.
  • Split: We recommend the parking lot at the Radisson Hotel
  • Dubrovnik: a parking lot within the harbour.

 Please note that Katarina Line is not responsible for any vehicle damage, and parking is available for personal vehicles only.
