Croatia is simply beautiful, a land of stunning islands, rich history, Mediterranean vegetation and mild climate. Without a doubt, the best way to explore it is by bike. This guided cycling tour in Dalmatia starts and ends in Split. During your tour, you will explore glorious coastlines, old villages and picturesque bays. Highlights include great beaches, vineyards, pine woods and cycling across the historic islands.

Participants should have at least an intermediate level of physical fitness and experience with cycling to fully enjoy and comfortably complete the cruise. Alternatively, we recommend to rent an EBIKE.

  • Vineyards and pine woods
  • Cycling across the historic islands

SWIMMING BREAKS & CYCLING ROUTE

Weather permitting, swim stops will be arranged in secluded bays or after cycling, before setting sail for the next island. The daily cycling route length may vary due to local conditions, detours, or shortcuts. Both sailing and cycling routes may be adjusted based on weather conditions and the cyclists' abilities. Departures typically take place in the morning, mostly after breakfast.

BICYCLES & RESPONSIBILITY

Bike rentals are available upon request. Participants are responsible for their own safety and must follow the guide’s instructions. The guide may modify the itinerary based on weather or group abilities. Any health conditions that may impact participation should be communicated in advance.

Katarina Line is not responsible for damage to personal bicycles during tours or transport. Owners must bring a repair kit and handle all assembly, maintenance, and packing/unpacking. Rental bikes must be returned in their original condition. Any damage will be charged according to the Katarina Line spare parts price list, available from the guide upon request.

FOOD & ADDITIONAL MEALS

The trip includes breakfast and either lunch or dinner. We encourage guests to dine at local restaurants along the cycling routes to experience authentic cuisine (meals at restaurants are not included in the trip price). A Captain’s Dinner, hosted by the captain and tour guide, is available for the Traditional Ensuite category and can be booked on-site.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT FOR BIKE CRUISES

We recommend bringing biking shoes (cycling shoes are not permitted on the vessel), a water bottle, a backpack, sunglasses, cycling gloves, extra clothing, and protection from rain and sun. If using a personal bike, a repair kit is mandatory.
